Information
Get ready to have a wonderful run through the beautiful vines of Bordeleau Vineyards & Winery! This event will be in collaboration with their annual fall festival (11am-5 pm). Hayrides, face painting, games, live music, food trucks, wine tastings and more! MiM will also have a few amazing silent auction items to bid on! Fun for the entire family!
The first 100 participants to sign up will be guaranteed a tech shirt.
We will also have finisher awards for each age group .
All proceeds will be donated to MiM Children’s Museum.

Frequently Asked Questions
When & Where will packet pick up be?
Packet pick up will be on Friday, October 25, 2019, at Vernon Powell in Salisbury, Maryland. VP is located at 2401 East Naylor Mill Road. You can pick up your packet on this day anywhere from 5-7 pm. We will also have packet pick up from 11-12:15 on race day (October 26, 2019)
Can someone else pick up my race packet for me? Can I pick up a race packet for someone else?
Sure. But if you are the person picking up a packet for someone else, please be 100% sure they are aware of this, so they don’t show up looking for their packet only to find out someone picked it up for them without their knowledge.
Can I walk this 5k?
ABSOLUTELY! Not everyone is a runner! We would just ask the walkers start towards the back to avoid any collisions with those that want to quickly get er done!
Can I run with headphones?
Runner safety has always been, and will continue to be, the top priority for our event. For this reason, the use of personal music devices during the running of the Run the Vines 5k is strongly discouraged. That said, people run with headphones all the time, and no one is going to physically stop you from doing so. If you do decide to run with headphones, please keep the volume low so you can hear what is going on around you. Be smart and be safe.
Can I run with a stroller?
Run the Vines 5k is a family-friendly race, there are some places where there is a little trench like area in the ground. For that reason, you are strongly encourage to use the left or right of the vineyards to navigate a single stroller. If you would like to WALK the race non-competitively while pushing a stroller, you may do so, but please start at the very back of the field.
Can I run in a Halloween costume ?
Sure you can; that would be a lot of fun!!

The fall festival will begin at 11:00am and end at 5:00pm. Feel free to enjoy this event in conjunction with the race!
**This is going to be a great first time event! Please be sure to drink responsibly and have a designated driver for after the race if you plan on consuming alcohol during the event.
